    Beckman Coulter Diagnostics takes pride in collaborating with a consortium of six other Diagnostics Companies under Danaher's umbrella.     The Research and Industrial Sales Executive (RISE) at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will engage extensively with potential customers at renowned academic institutions to deeply understand their role in neurodegenerative research and qualify them as leads for our assays, enabling the successful execution of their research strategy. The RISE will initiate customer contacts, discuss qualification criteria for our products, schedule face-to-face meetings with Research Sales Executives (RSEs), and arrange technical discussions with Applications Scientists as needed. Collaborating closely with the RSE, the RISE will exchange qualified leads, explore new business prospects, and identify key stakeholders to follow up on in the sales pipeline.
    This role is a part of a remote team, involving approximately 25% travel. Our vision at Beckman Coulter is to revolutionize healthcare continuously, one diagnosis at a time.
    Reporting to the (position) at the company, the ideal RISE will be a dynamic, results-oriented individual brimming with passion. They should be a self-motivated professional with sharp attention to detail, the ability to grasp new information swiftly, and a proven track record of making meaningful contributions within a team setting. The RISE will adeptly connect with prospects and clients to generate new business and nurture existing relationships.
    Here's what you'll get to do in this role:
    • Identify and cultivate marketing qualified leads (MQL) through market research and intelligence.
    • Convert MQLs into sales qualified leads (SQL) by assessing prospects to gauge sales potential, hitting monthly and annual sales targets by securing new and recurring business within the designated region.
    • Manage multiple consumable sales opportunities and account management tasks.
    • Utilize (CRM system) to develop and oversee the Research Use Only (RUO) opportunity pipeline for the assigned area; actively engage in acquiring new accounts, generating sales quotations, and addressing customer queries.
    • Collaborate with the RSE to lead cross-functional teams or projects and create tools, resources, and materials supporting neurodegenerative research and implementation.
    The key requirements for this role are:
    • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience OR 0-2 years of experience with a Master's degree in selling Research Use Only (RUO) products within academic and research institutions.
    • Excellent time management skills leading to tangible outcomes.
    • Proficiency in MS Suite and adaptability in learning software systems.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiarity with the research laboratory discovery and development process and a basic comprehension of the analytical lab ecosystem.
    Having the following would be advantageous:
    • Demonstrated capability and aptitude for grasping technical and intricate information.
    • Prior experience in a laboratory setting is beneficial.
    • Ability to collaborate with service and marketing teams to optimize value and efficiency by understanding customer-specific processes.

    The salary range for this position is confidential and may be subject to adjustments.
    This role is eligible for bonus/incentive compensation.
