    Position: Facilities Supervisor

    Location: New York, NY

    *Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 USD annually

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for all matters related to physical plant for our two Company3 NY locations. The Facilities Supervisor will be both hands on with regular maintenance and upkeep, and responsible for overseeing vendors and 3rd party contractors.

    MAIN DUTIES:

    The Facilities Supervisor will manage vendors pertaining to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, locks, and other 3rd party contractors. They will work with the Operations and Facilities to intake client requests, get quotes, ensure vendor contracts are accurate and manage budgets and timeline. They must be available to handle emergencies pertaining to HVAC, leaks, etc. or able to assess the problem and arrange for emergency service, as well as assess facility regularly, make recommendations on maintenance needed and able to prioritize need. Additional duties include:

    + Prep offices for client occupancy including patching and painting walls, checking all furniture and small appliance in good working order, making adjustments as needed

    + Adjust HVAC vents, dampers for temperature control. Check HVAC units daily and note when service is needed.

    + Move office furniture, rugs, file cabinets, mini fridges using dollies and hand trucks

    + Assemble and install furniture (e.g. assemble shelves, desks, consoles)

    + Mount and hang items such as sound baffles, corkboards, whiteboards, pictures

    + Prep rooms and windows for window cleaning by 3rd party by safely moving furniture, removing window channels

    + Change lightbulbs, adjust light fixtures as needed

    + Able to work independently to prep spaces for work and clean up after work is complete

    + Update spreadsheets with detail on facility progress reports

    + Perform other duties as assigned such as covering for coworkers if needed.

    + Must be able to work flexible hours.

    WHAT YOU BRING:

    The ideal candidate will have prior working experience in facility maintenance or related field. They must have an understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry, and have the ability to use common tools. Additional desired skills include:

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Must be customer service oriented.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office

    + Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly, and consistently.

    + Ability to understand and follow directions as given.

    + Ability to work with minimal supervision.

    *The listed pay range represents the lowest to highest range that we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employees pay position within the range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, local currency exchange rates, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, applicable law, and business or organizational needs.

    The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off. The benefits for eligible project hires and part-time employees working less than 25 hours per week in the US include retirement, select insurance benefits, and where required by law, health benefits. For roles filled in Canada and other territories, local benefits plan offerings will apply.
