Job Overview:

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the CBS housekeeping team.

The primary responsibility is to ensure that all daily and periodic requirements are completed to the highest standards and according to schedule.

Additionally, this position will also ensure that client requests are promptly addressed in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and in accordance the required standards.


Responsibilities:


Team Management

  • Motivates, directs, trains and coaches all employees to meet maintenance requirements.
  • Conducts quality assurance checks.
  • Adheres to cleaning specifications as set forth by contractual agreements and company standards.
  • Promptly manages client request and responds to client complaints.
  • Conducts inspections and submits reports on a weekly basis.
  • Recommends services and maintenance care to clients.
  • Maintains constant communication with clients to ensure quality service.

Inventory and Supply Management

  • Manages inventory and distributes equipment, supplies, and other materials in a cost effective and efficient manner.
  • Arranges for equipment maintenance and repairs.

Administration, Safety, Training and Other Responsibilities

  • Ensures accurate timekeeping records daily and accurately reports weekly payrolls.
  • Maintains personnel calendars and documents sick, personal, holiday and other applicable records through the time and attendance system.
  • Maintains safety records, investigates work related and liability incidents, reports incidents according to safety and OSHA regulations, and coordinates and conducts required safety trainings.
  • Adheres to client specific administrative reports, documentation, and other requests.

Qualifications and Competencies:


  • High School Degree required; College degree desired.
  • 35 years of prior supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or similar industry.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
  • Prior supervisory experience in the healthcare industry highly desirable.
  • Successful experience with managing, motivating, training, and coaching large teams.
  • Knowledge of and ability to train on compliance for OSHA, JCAHO, and DOH and other regulatory agencies.
  • Strong relationship building skills, specifically able to build effective relationships with property management, other facility teams, client representatives, CBS staff and management.
  • Experience with managing in a union environment highly desired as well as experience following union protocols.
  • Able to prioritize work and elevate appropriately any obstacles or concerns.

Pay:
$65, $75,000.00 per year
