    Position Summary: Under general supervision, the Manager of Residential Services Operations is responsible for oversight of services where there is significant overlap between clinical/program and operations departments, including Recovery Advocates/direct care, Medication/Med Techs, and Transportation. The Manager of Residential Services Operations ensures that operations of these services are provided in a manner that is recovery-oriented and trauma-informed, in compliance with all applicable regulations/standards, and enacted in a manner that best supports our participants on their recovery journey. The Manager works to improve processes and efficiency of residential services operations and ensures that departments maintain appropriate documentation, quality of care, and participant satisfaction.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    · Provides oversight for areas where there is close overlap between clinical/programs and operations within residential services, including the RA/direct care, medication, and transportation department. Ensures quality, safety, and adherence to Santa Maria core values and mission, including recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care. Recruits, trains, and supervises lead staff for the RA/direct care, medication, and transportation departments.

    · Fosters a positive and strong organizational culture that will value accountability, collaboration and help attract and retain a successful and committed staff.

    · Mentors and evaluates performance of staff; providing coaching/mentoring and training; facilitate and strengthen the ability of staff to problem solve and develop skills

    · Ensures that staff meets all accreditation and state and federal requirements regarding training and that staff training is documented.

    · Facilitates communication and coordination among departments working with residential participants

    · Develops and implements quality improvement initiatives within the residential services operations sphere to improve process flow, participant and staff satisfaction, and improve quality of services. Analyze and document QI initiatives and refine as needed. Ensure buy-in from overlapping departments and staff and promote cross-department collaboration in design and execution.

    · Develops and provides ongoing training and staff support to ensure program quality and compliance.

    · Develops and maintains processes for inventory control and distribution, working in coordination with development, finance and clinical teams

    · Develops and maintains processes to ensure documentation is entered into CMBHS within required timeframes and is accurate and complete (such as structured activity hours)

    · Maintains appropriate reports, in accordance with the program agency.

    · Assists Senior Director of Operations with budget control activities (i.e. conserving resources, avoiding waste, limiting overtime, etc).

    · Participates in training, staffing and supervisory sessions.

    • Be flexible to rotate facility locations as needed
    • Works closely with Senior Director of Programs to ensure consistency in communications, client management, and operations across direct care and clinical teams. Fosters collaborative approach between clinical and direct care teams.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of an associates degree; bachelors preferred; one-year supervisory experience, preferably in a related environment such as residential treatment or other healthcare setting;. Experience with residential treatment and business management practices strongly preferred. Consistent record of delivering quality services and excellent customer service, as demonstrated by employee file, participant/client satisfaction surveys and feedback, and leadership observation. Preferred certification/license such as Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor license (LCDC) or Recovery Peer Support Specialist (RSPS or MHPS) certification.

    Certificates and Licenses:

    A valid Texas Driver's License along with proof of insurance is required. CPR and Infant CPR certifications; current First Aid certification and current PMAB training required.

    Our women face many challenges to their recovery, including histories or trauma, criminal justice and Children's Protective Services involvement, and homelessness or housing instability. Many also have co-occurring mental and physical health issues. Their children and families struggle with these issues as well, and so together we support the entire family on their recovery journey.
