    About the Division:

    THG Beauty

    Home to Lookfantastic, the leading online pure-play premium beauty retailer globally, THG Beauty is the critical enabler of the online and international growth of over 1,000 luxury and professional brands across the skincare, haircare, cosmetics and fragrance categories. THG Beauty also includes Glossybox, Europes leading monthly beauty subscription box business. Together, Glossybox and THGs Lookfantastic Beauty Box business have 500,000+ monthly subscribers, providing THG with authority as a source of digital beauty education and discovery, while also acting as a highly effective customer acquisition channel for THG Beautys retail sites, converting high spending sampling customers to full size sales on Lookfantastic. The Group now has a substantial presence in the US Beauty market through the acquisition of the US retailers Skinstore in 2016 and Dermstore in 2021. Through THG Beauty, the Group has the stated ambition of becoming the undisputed global digital partner of choice across the beauty industry, powering channel shift from offline to online for its brand partners. THG is uniquely placed to deliver this shift due to its multi-faceted business model, engaging with brands as a retailer, a technology partner, a brand owner and a product developer and manufacturer the breadth of its relationships are unique in the beauty industry, confirming THG as the industrys digital strategic leader.

    About the Role:

    The Assistant Buyer is responsible for supporting the Director of New Business in onboarding and administrative functions for new brands we are adding to the US Beauty brand portfolio for all THG Retail Sites Dermstore, Lookfantastic, and Skinstore.

    Main responsibilities include:

    Helping new brand partners to navigate through the Supplier Set up process, collecting the required and accurate information etc

    Setting up SKUs and content/visuals for new brand launches

    Creating pitch and launch decks

    Manages and updates product catalogue including the set up and go live of new products and brands

    Identifying improvements and optimizations to be made to the product page and attribution to maximize conversion and actively leading these improvement projects

    Optimizing the presentation of key trends on products e.g. vegan, organic, gluten free. Identifying upcoming product trends and collaborating with category and marketing teams to maximise exposure for these trends.

    Work with Partnership team to understand site strategies across categories and deliver in alignment

    Manage pricing of catalogue

    Assist in administrative functions for entire division as needed

    Requirements:

    Undergraduate Degree

    1-2 year working/internship experience

    Ecommerce or digital internship/experience preferable

    Essential Skills:

    Ability to prioritize and structure work

    Analytical with a strong attention to detail

    Ability to form good working relationships

    Ability to communicate effectively - both written and verbal

    Ability to Multi-Task

    Ability to meet deadlines

    Excellent Computer Skills - all standard Microsoft Office Applications
