    Description


    Responsible for supporting Program Manager(s) (PM) by tracking and managing the financial and accounting aspects of large and complex client programs in the PM's portfolio.

    Provide support to management on reconciliations and extensive contract reporting requirements imposed by the Company' Federal and Commercial customers.

    Experience with various contract types; CPFF, CPAF, T&M, FFP etc.

    Prepare required contract reports that detail funding levels and expenditure status by project, accounting classification, and subcontractor.


    For newly awarded contracts, establish and report on a labor and travel tracking system to support PM budget tracking and reporting.


    Program performance tracking and generation of ETC/EAC reports/calculations and performing financial forecasting/budgeting, monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis, and reconciliation of internal projects.


    Coordinate with PMs, Contracts, and Finance to monitor availability of adequate funding by reviewing expenditure reports, facilitating accurate expenditure projections by project and accounting classification with input from PMs, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the Contracts Manager.


    Track funding levels of subcontractors - provide current data through monitoring and alerts to Contract Manager to ensure that subcontractors have sufficient funds to continue working or are directed to stop work when funding is exhausted.

    Set up project accounts in the Company' Unanet accounting system, and verify the accuracy of information posted therein, including employee time charging, subcontractor time charging and invoices, and material/travel costs, detail funding levels and expenditure status by project, accounting classification

    Maintain/monitor the integrity of project data in Unanet by 1) tracking funding levels of subcontractors to ensure that subcontractors have sufficient funds to continue working, or are directed to stop work when funding is exhausted and 2) adding new project assignments or changing existing project assignments in the Company's Unanet accounting system.

    Develop as-needed analysis, summary information, and research for the Company Finance, PMO, and Contracts teams.

    Assist PMs with revenue forecasting through data validation and inputs.

    Maintain monthly invoicing for Commercial and Non-FAA Federal contracts

    Reconcile monthly direct labor JSR report to General Ledger

    Reconcile Accounts Receivable Subledger

    Reconcile Accounts Payable Subledger

    Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree in related field.

    Minimum of 5 years relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).

    Project Forecasting:
    Experience taking project status information and extrapolating the current project performance to the end of the project.

    Demonstrated knowledge in financial analysis (estimates, tracking, forecasting).

    Project Financial Planning:
    Experience with the process of determining project costs and developing a budget.

    Working knowledge of Unanet.

    High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

    Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively to colleagues and managers.

    Ability to prioritize, work with minimum supervision and be persistent in follow-through.


    Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

    Demonstrate critical thinking, active listening, self-starter attitude, self-awareness and integrity.

    Accountability and authenticity in approaching interactions with colleagues and clients.

    Project Management:
    Experience with projects that support a Federal customer under a government contract or subcontract

    Experience supporting activities associated with developing pricing for proposals to be submitted in response to government contract solicitations.


    General knowledge of government contracting principles and the government acquisition process (e.g., contract types, role of the government contracting officer, purpose of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), etc.)



    Acquisition/Procurement:
    Experience supporting activities associated with the process for acquiring, by contract, personnel, supplies or services. The contract defines the relationship, duration, nature and extent of service, statement of work, consideration and terms and condition.
