    Non Profit Financial Reporting Manager

    Non Profit Financial Reporting Manager Job Description:

    We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the preparation of financial statements, regulatory reports, and budget analyses within our non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a deep understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations in the non-profit sector. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting while spearheading process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

    Non Profit Financial Reporting Manager Responsibilities:

    • Prepare monthly financial statements, budget variance analysis reports, trend reports, annual agency cost reports, agency indirect cost reports, and annual functional expense reports.
    • Assist external firm with the preparation of form 5500, form 990, and other regulatory reporting requirements specific to non-profit organizations.
    • Prepare Federal and State single audit binder schedules.
    • Review and release temporarily restricted funds received from donors.
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple departments to prepare internal and external reports that align with the mission and goals of the organization.
    • Create and format system-generated financial reports in the company's ERP Accounting system.
    • Supervise staff accountant(s) as needed.
    • Develop and support process improvements to establish best practice procedures related to financial reporting in the non-profit sector.
