    The Role: Underwriting & Servicing Associate

    You'll be the frontline of exceptional customer service for Inclined (line of credit) loan products, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our clients. Key responsibilities include:

    • Line of Credit Processing & Underwriting:
      • Meticulously review iLOC (Inclined line of credit) loan applications and supporting whole life insurance policy documents, verifying completeness and accuracy.
      • Analyze financial information, assess creditworthiness, and evaluate risk factors to make sound underwriting decisions.
      • Process a high volume of iLOC (Inclined line of credit) applications in a fast but accurate way throughout all the different stages of our underwriting and activation process.
      • Communicate iLOC (Inclined line of credit) decisions and provide clear explanations to borrowers and advisors on the status of their application and next steps.
    • Customer Support:
      • Provide expert guidance and support to loan applicants, borrowers, financial advisors, and insurance carriers through phone and email communication.
      • Answer inquiries, resolve issues, and guide customers through the application process with professionalism and empathy.
      • Help educate our borrowers and financial advisors on how to fully utilize our borrower and advisor portals to maximize their customer experience with Inclined.
    • Compliance:
      • Adhere strictly to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies within the highly regulated financial services industry.
      • Maintain detailed documentation of all interactions and transactions to ensure compliance.
    • Problem-Solving:
      • Troubleshoot issues promptly and effectively, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to clients with varying levels of financial knowledge.
      • De-escalate customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, providing satisfactory resolutions.

    Ideal Candidate

    • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial services, ideally with a focus on loan processing, underwriting, or life insurance policy servicing.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
    • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, able to work with precision in a highly regulated environment.
    • Results-Oriented: You have a strong drive to deliver results and a passion for consistently exceeding expectations, embracing the philosophy of kaizen (continuous improvement) to achieve ambitious targets.
    • Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills, capable of condensing complex information and navigating difficult situations.
    • Customer-Focused: Proven ability to provide outstanding support in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

    Location

    Hybrid role based in our Downtown Denver, CO office. We ask that any new hire completes training in the office five days a week for the first six weeks and then you can move to a 2 day/week in office, 3 day/week work from home schedule thereafter.
