The Policy Compliance Lead will develop, maintain, and update internal procedures and controls to ensure alignment with broader NBCU policies.
Key responsibilities are to advocate for and foster a culture of compliance within the business, being a focal point for our Global Audit, Cyber, and Compliance teams.
The role will include managing day to day aspects including scoping, identifying key controls, implementing controls, overseeing the quarterly and annual review exercises, documenting the artifacts and the evidence and partnering with auditors and business owners to complete the assessments.
Reporting to the Sr.Manager of Technology Finance, you will be working with a variety of teams, internal and external, to leverage information and ensure the processes and accountability are in place.
As a result, this role involves high proficiency in soft skills such as communication, organizational abilities, and good interpersonal skills.

Establish processes to support the controls and ensure that control self-assessments are conducted in a timely manner ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Stay up to date on changes to policies, determine relevance to local teams, and advocate for adjustments/exceptions to policies as appropriateEnsure that appropriate documentation in the form of standards and procedures is created and managed to support the various security, compliance and audit requirementsLead quarterly and annual review exercises that include (but not limited to) user access reviews, privileged access, CMDB application audits and data retentionWork in conjunction with our global audit team to deliver required evidence and details on process controlsEndorse and support a compliance culture whereby employees are encouraged to seek clarifications and support for the companys compliance initiatives while providing guidance and support to IT and business to ensure continued compliance with the various mandatesWork closely with our training department to establish and carry out training (both formal and informal) to make employees aware of compliance policies and the procedures they need to adhere toSupport the rollout of new policies and procedures including change management with impacted partnersMonitor & confirm employees are properly using company-issued credit cards.
Educate employees where policy gaps are identified.Build relationships with technology and business teams across the companyQualificationsWhat do I need to have in order to do this job?Bachelors or Master's degree or equivalent experience in a computer or information management fieldMinimum 3+ years experience in an information security compliance, audit or risk management role with hands on experience in compliance initiativesAdvanced certificate in compliance (CISSP, CISA or CISM) a plusOrganization, project management, and strategic planning skillsFamiliarity with a broad range of IT and Information Security products and technologies such as identity and access management, vulnerability management, encryption and key management, logging and monitoring and application securityOutstanding analytical skills and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent team collaboration and communication skillsSolid attention to detail with a proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to work collaboratively with senior-level leaders across the organization

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
