Full time Procurement Specialist - 989

A growing consumer goods business in the e-commerce space is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join their procurement team.

The ideal candidate is motivated, data-driven, and analytical. They will primarily be responsible for working on projecting order quantities, managing inventory, and working on upstream issues to avoid products running out of stock.

Responsibilities

Utilize existing sales data to determine order quantities by factoring trend and seasonality for a wide range of products
Monitor Inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels
Develop and track Key performance metrics for the procurement team for
Inventory levels, factory lead time, and raw material prices
Work on procurement related projects to better manage our inventory.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure new and trending products are being stocked adequately
Communicate with vendors, agents, warehouse managers, etc. in order to achieve a smooth operation

The overall goal of the procurement team is to be in stock on all products at the best possible price.

Qualifications

Growth oriented and looking to take on new challenges
Computer and data entry savvy with a working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills

Salary: $100k - $120k/Year
