    Summary

    Carry out assigned tasks at the workstation to ensure top-notch products and services are delivered to customers in line with Papa John's standards. Adhere to Papa John's guidelines on uniform, appearance, and operations as outlined in the Operations Manual, Cross-Training Guidebook, Team Member Handbook, and in compliance with relevant laws.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Execute assigned workstation tasks such as crafting high-quality products, preparing ingredients, taking orders, delivering excellent customer service through positive and professional customer interactions via phone or in person, and approaching tasks with promptness.
    • Collaborate with the team by being punctual, supporting other workstations, and completing all closing duties including cleaning at the end of each shift. Uphold the company's image by adhering to uniform and appearance standards. Foster a culture of teamwork, vibrancy, and enjoyment.
    • Utilize the PROFIT System accurately, handle cash, check, and/or credit card transactions. Enhance sales by upselling to boost the order value. Safeguard the company's assets by maintaining orderly, safe, and clean workspaces; adhere to safety and security protocols consistently.

    Physical Demands

    While performing job duties, team members must repetitively use hands, stand for extended periods, walk, grasp firmly or lightly, and exhibit fine finger dexterity. Additionally, tasks may involve bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, kneeling, using feet repetitively, and engaging in head and neck movements, as well as lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds. Occasional activities may include sitting, climbing, balancing, and lifting or moving objects exceeding 51 pounds.

    Work Environment

    During job tasks, team members may work outdoors in varying temperatures, in a noisy setting, in proximity to moving mechanical components, hazardous equipment, sharp tools, and amidst fumes, odors, dust, or chemicals.

    Additional Information

    • Individuals must be at least 16 years old to undertake duties such as pizza loading, oven tending, pizza cutting, dough docking, and dishwashing at Papa John's.
    • Applicants should be prepared to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and during emergencies.
    • Initially, team members are expected to work fewer than 30 hours per week during peak times on a part-time basis, with occasional shifts.
    • Flexibility in scheduling is required.
    • If trained as a delivery driver, a valid driver's license as per state laws, a satisfactory motor vehicle record, proof of insurance, and a suitable vehicle are mandatory.
    • Bilingual capabilities are advantageous in certain markets.
    • This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
    • Additional documentation may be necessary as per state requirements.
