- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.
- Must complete a BSN degree within four (4) years from the Registered Nurses date of hire unless the Registered Nurse has a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in an Acute Care, Home Health, or Hospice setting
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Shift Details:
Part time, 24 hours - Weekend requirements of 2-3 weekdays in a 5-week period. There is a requirement to work holidays, usually one minor and one major. Weekend, on call, holiday shifts could increase or decrease depending upon staffing.
Unit/Location:
North Denver area (above I-70), depending upon needs, may help cover patients in the south below I-70.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.- and -Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.- and -Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
and -Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc).- Homecare - Denver MetroThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
