    Description

    Job Title: Developer III

    Location: Columbia, SC (on-site quarterly and as needed)

    Duration: 5/13/24-5/09/25 with potential extension/conversion

    Rate: $56/hr

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking two Developer III professionals to join our Commercial Web Team in Columbia, South Carolina. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and implementing web/mobile applications while providing technical direction and support. Candidates will engage in detailed system analysis and design, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and project timelines. This position offers a dynamic, project-oriented work environment and requires a proactive approach with a strong focus on front-end development using technologies like , Angular, or React.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform detailed application system analysis and design based on project requirements.
    • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain complex programs.
    • Develop functional and technical specifications, diagrams, and workflow diagrams.
    • Analyze and recommend enhancements to existing systems.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure understanding of business requirements and deliver solutions that align with project goals.
    • Provide instruction and guidance to the production support team.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Required: Strong experience with , Angular, or React; proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), OpenShift, AWS, or similar technologies preferred.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience: Minimum 4 years in application development or system testing.
    • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Familiarity with project management concepts and team building.

    Additional Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment and respond to technical business needs 24x7.

    Preferred Skills: Jenkins experience for production code deployment is highly desirable.
