    Description
    General Recruitment Information


    Under general supervision, executes routine legal secretarial and administrative tasks for a designated county department or staff attorneys, including information gathering and preparation, as well as addressing public and staff inquiries.

    Under specific direction, undertakes a diverse range of intricate and specialized legal secretarial and administrative support responsibilities for a designated county department or staff attorneys, encompassing information gathering and preparation, and handling public and staff inquiries.

    Undertakes additional tasks as required.

    Minimum Qualifications


    LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Licensing and Certification:
    Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver's license.


    Education and Experience:


    Three (3) years of full-time responsible office and administrative support work, including experience in a position requiring knowledge of legal terminology and procedures and substantial public contact.

    Additional directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.


    LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, SENIOR


    Licensing and Certification:
    Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver's license.


    Education and Experience:


    Two (2) years offull-timeresponsible legal office and administrative support work at a level comparable to Legal Administrative Assistant with the County of Lake.

    Additional directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.
