    Description

    The Surveyor I role is perfect for recent graduates or those with less than five (5) years of experience in the industry. Working directly under a supervisor, you will be responsible for applying traditional surveying practices. Your main focus will be on evaluating vessels and marine structures during and after construction to ensure compliance with ABS regulations and other safety requirements.

    Responsibilities:
    • Act as a specialist, applying rules and regulations effectively
    • Conduct routine surveys on various marine structures
    • Prepare accurate inspection reports
    • Interact with clients to address issues within your expertise
    • Maintain organized survey files
    • Learn office procedures and business performance monitoring
    • Enhance understanding of field operations through challenging assignments
    Requirements:
    • Educational background in engineering or physical science
    • Proficiency in English
    • Knowledge of ABS Rules and shipbuilding practices
    • Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions
    • Good communication skills
    Reporting Relationships:

    You will report to the Principal, Senior, or Surveyor-in-Charge at the assigned port.

    Working Conditions:

    This role involves travel to survey sites, manufacturing plants, and various marine vessels. It may also require work in office environments and confined spaces.
