- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing recommendations for cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Evaluate and assess financial data for trends, anomalies, and potential risks or opportunities.
- Participate in financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Supports ad-hoc tasks and various business projects using tools to improve processes and increase productivity.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial software and ERP systems (Netsuite Planning & Budgeting Module, Tableau knowledge a plus)
- Experienced professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in the professional field
- Typically requires BS / BA in related discipline
- Generally requires at least 5 years of directly-related experience. A Masters Degree and 3 years of previous experience in related field could qualify a candidate for entry into the company at this level
