    Preferred Qualifications


    • 6+ years of IT experience in managing and administrating large Oracle databases including OLTP/OLAP/DW.
    • Strong Oracle Database DBA experience on 12c /19c and newer versions.
    • Experience on Exadata environment will be added advantage.
    • Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas RAC, ASM, Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker
    • Experience in handling complex database recovery scenarios
    • Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues
    • Advanced Database Administration or specialized certification. AIX, scripting (ksh, perl), awk, sed, vi/emacs.
    • Solid knowledge of data warehouse architecture, dimension modeling, and metadata management.
    • Strong knowledge of ASM, RAC and basic knowledge of golden gate replication.
    • Basics of AIX/Linux Administration, LDAP, Shell Scripting, SQL.
    • Strong knowledge in database backups and recovery techniques.
    • Strong group leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Implementation and support of large Oracle environments
    • Enterprise Manager Grid Control
    • Backup and recovery concepts and RMAN
    • Data warehousing and OLTP environments
    • Oracle RAC
    • Performance problem identification and remediation
    • AIX and Linux
    • Strong verbal, written, organizational and documentation skills
    • Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; creative thinking
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional non-business hours (evenings and weekends) flexibility and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
    • Ability to work productively in a team environment and participate as a positive and cooperative team member
    • Weekly database maintenance like generating stats, index reorg, space optimization
    • Experience in technical transitions.

    Job summary
    We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with a strong background in OracleAppsDBAMaint to join our multinational corporation.

    With a focus on innovation and efficiency, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Oracle Applications infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to our strategic goals.

    This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a minimum of 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.


    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to Oracle Applications, ensuring they meet company standards and project deadlines.
    • Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and management of Oracle Apps databases to ensure high availability and performance.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and resolve complex Oracle Apps issues.
    • Develop and implement best practices for Oracle Apps database administration and maintenance.
    • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with the latest industry standards and security policies.
    • Provide expert guidance on Oracle Apps architecture, contributing to the overall strategy and technological advancements.
    • Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources.
    • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including technical and nontechnical team members, to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and progress.
    • Stay abreast of the latest Oracle technologies and updates, incorporating new features and improvements into our systems.
    • Ensure documentation of all Oracle Apps configurations, changes, and upgrades is maintained accurately.
    • Qualifications
    • Must have a strong foundation in Oracle Apps DBA Maintenance with proven experience in managing Oracle databases.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a diverse environment.
    • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues before they escalate.
    • Familiarity with Oracle Apps upgrades, patches, and migrations is highly desirable.
    • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of Oracle Applications and database management.
