    The Safety & Security Department of the MTA IT is seeking the service of Database Administrator / Analyst "Counter" consultant.

    The Analyst/Counter consultant position is requested to provide a manual review and analysis of camera/electronic data portraying Quality of Life (QOL) issues such as fare evasion and vandalism for the purpose of: analyzing changes/improvements due to security policies per the instruction of the Director, Data Information and analysis, department of Safety and Security.

    Counters to analyze data using Microsoft Office 365 and other 3rd party database applications.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Observe sources of electronic data for usable information
    • Input data from available sources into relevant fields
    • Code data
    • Transform data into actionable information
    • Maintain records as requested by Director Data Information and Analysis.
    • Analyze data to identify trends
    • Develop visual representations of quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Ensures company complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
    • Liaise with IT systems experts
