    Description

    Overview

    Looking for a new challenge in the structural engineering field? Join Kimley-Horn, a top company to work for, seeking a Building Structures Practice leader in Los Angeles, CA.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the growth of the building structures practice in the Western US
    • Develop and maintain relationships with coworkers, industry peers, and clients
    • Review structural design calculations and ensure high project quality
    • Conduct site investigations and prepare technical reports
    • Participate in meetings and presentations with clients and design team
    • Identify project opportunities through client networking
    • Lead with integrity, business acumen, and effective communication
    • Manage projects profitably and mentor staff
    • Enjoy autonomy to lead and grow the business

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 15 years of structural engineering experience
    • Registered Professional Engineer preferred
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup
    • Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills
    • Experience in writing proposals and managing projects

    Base Salary Range:

    • $200,000 to $250,000
    • Performance-based bonus potential
