In collaboration with the Deputy Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will develop and implement a comprehensive strategic partnership strategy, identifying and nurturing partnerships that enhance our advocacy efforts and maximize our impact in healthcare policy.
The Director makes impactful contributions to support the development, implementation, and execution of highly impactful projects to enhance our organization's grasstops and grassroots efforts at the state and national levels focused on ensuring the best health and healthcare are equally accessible and affordable to all in our nation.
Central to this role is to execute strategic, innovative, and collaborative plans to identify and engage critical community stakeholders to advance advocacy efforts at the state and national level and various Families USA grant-related activities.
This individual contributes to coalition building activities, cultivates, and maintains strategic relationships with state and national partners, conducts research toward strengthening and supporting existing advocacy efforts and develops content on a broad range of written products related to Families USA's focus areas:Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare, Public Policy, or related field. Minimum 7 years' nonprofit or advocacy experience, with demonstrated coalition building skills. Strong knowledge of healthcare industry and social justice issues and in advancing health equity. Excellent oral, writing, presentation, and organizational skills. Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and leadership abilities. Proficient in project management and multitasking. Proactive problem-solver with creative initiative and sound judgment.
