- Responsible for achieving enrollment targets, training counselors, and attracting a qualified cohort.
- Directly supervise, plan, inspire, and motivate the Admission team.
- Engage in and mentor others in best practices to enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with University leadership to develop a marketing strategy that solidifies The Chicago School's position as a top institution in professional psychology, with a focus on enhancing diversity and exploring new markets.
- Act as the main point of contact with faculty regarding enrollment objectives, admission decisions, and involvement in the recruitment process.
- Establish relationships and maintain close communication with various institutional directors.
- Develop efficient strategies for processing applications, communicating with students, and selecting the right candidates.
- Produce, manage, and analyze all admission reports regularly.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of the Admissions team, providing assessments and training sessions.
- Stay updated on all TCSPP programs and requirements.
- Coordinate all recruitment efforts, including events and online platforms.
- Oversee all correspondence and mailings.
- Manage applicant, inquiry, and enrollment reports.
- Assist in counselor development and contribute to the annual admission plan.
- Participate in recruitment activities and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
- Coordinate with different departments for cohesive efforts in events, communication, and recruitment.
- Manage the Admission budget and ensure the website is up to date.
- Engage directly with prospective students throughout the admissions process as necessary.
- Position may require evening and weekend responsibilities.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Keep in touch with prospective students professionally and promptly.
- Make outbound calls to reach prospective students efficiently.
- Clearly explain TCSPP's mission and value to potential students.
- Provide consultations to guide students on academic programs and admission requirements.
- Generate applicant and inquiry reports weekly.
- Perform additional assigned tasks.
- Strong public speaking and writing skills with effective organizational abilities.
- Experience in staff management and event planning is advantageous.
- Proficient in word processing, database management, and presentation software.
- Ability to engage with and represent a diverse community.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- At least five years of admissions experience with progressive leadership roles.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle necessary.
- Internal candidates must have served as an Associate Director at TCSPP for a minimum of two years with a strong performance record.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside regular hours.

The Director/Senior Director of Admissions plays a crucial role in leading a team with a mix of charisma, organization, and passion. Strong organizational and leadership abilities are a must.
