    Advances in AI and LLMs are changing the way the world searches, and Objective is the platform that will bring the power of AI-native search to every website and app.

    The Role

    We're seeking our first dedicated marketing hire .

    You'll be the first person person on the team that spends their entire day thinking about our presence in the world.

    Living and breathing the brand; answering inbounds from reporters; co-ordinating and authoring blog posts. You'll need to love the startup hustle.

    You'll own the strategy for all marketing-attributable customer acquisition, including paid, organic, content, community, social and other areas.

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable making recommendations on how we should prioritize each of these areas to maximize ROI and accelerate 'getting to the next stage'.

    You'll also (again, at least initially) own the execution and measurement of any-and-all activities you choose to prioritize. Of course, career growth is unlimited, with the opportunity to hire and/or specialize as we grow. For now, the role requires an A+ generalist.


    Success in this role requires a scientific mindset – you'll be foremost measured on your ability to deliver impact to our customer acquisition funnel, but we also recognize that the playbook isn't written yet, and you'll be secondarily measured on the validity of your experiment design and the rigor with which you execute, record and react to experimental results.

    Requirements & Skills

    Experience with B2B lead generation, preferably in a high-tech, high-CLV context.
    Strong working knowledge of the modern martech stack.

    We have engineers handy, but its expected that you can exhaustively define integration requirements, and implement 'no-code' integrations on your own.

    Expanding on the prior point, you've formed your own opinions on the most important metrics to collect, analyze and act upon, and you're capable of the configuration work required to ensure the data is collected.

    A solid understanding of inbound techniques incl. content & SEO, and hybrid inbound/outbound techniques such as those used in account-based marketing.
    A competent and prolific writer. Internally, writing is how work gets done. Externally, the quality of your writing is how the world will estimate our bar for excellence.

    Nice to have:
    exposure to Product Marketing, in the context of product launches, authoring effective product copy, and sales enablement.

    Nice to have:
    experience marketing to developers in a modern ????-aaS context.
