- Supervise junior accounting staff for accuracy and timely completion of General Accounting processes, general ledger, cost accounting, and the financial close processes.
- Ensure all month, quarter, and year end reports are completed timely and accurately.
- Establishing & managing internal controls.
- Improve accuracy on taxes and reporting functions.
- Work with external auditors to support year-end financial audit activities.
- Play a critical role in helping prepare the organization for a potential future IPO.
- Support the roll-out of multiple production facilities across the US.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 7-10+ years of accounting experience. 5+ years supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to set accounting strategy and lead accounting initiatives (implementing revenue recognition, creating and maintaining financial dashboards, implementing process and procedures to help with quick month/year end closes).
- Strong familiarity with GAAP standards and financial reporting. Preferred experience with design and implementation of ERP systems.
- Good working knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
- CPA preferred.
