The City of Kiel, Department of Fire Protection, Rescue Services, Disaster and Civil Protection, Regional Control Center, is looking to fill several positions as

Control Center Dispatcher

as soon as possible.

The positions are classified in pay group 9a TVöD and cannot be divided.

Job Description

  • Independent acceptance and processing of all requests for assistance and citizen requests directed to the IRLS Mitte using the control center computer, other available technical aids and communication tools, as well as other available documents
  • Decision on the use of resources based on the information available
  • Dispatch of resources used in fire protection and rescue services
  • Management of fire and rescue operations until the on-site incident commander arrives

    • Required qualifications:

  • Qualification as a paramedic or emergency medical technician
  • or a completed at least 2-year training and qualification as an emergency medical assistant
  • at least 2 years of professional experience in full-time emergency medical services
