Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NYS Licensed Psychologist to conduct psychological evaluations for eligibility for OPWDD services (Office of People with Developmental Disabilities). Professionals must be able to diagnose qualifying intellectual and developmental disabilities, submit psychological testing of intellectual functioning, adaptive behavior functioning, developmental history, and, as applicable, the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2nd Edition (ADOS-2). This position is Per Diem.

A psychological report which includes an assessment of intellectual functioning. This report should include all summary scores from the assessment (Full Scale, Index, Part and Subtest scores). An interpretive report of a standardized assessment of adaptive behavior, including summary, composite, scale, and domain scores. Interviews with caregivers, records review, and direct observations. Evaluations will primarily be for children 3-21 years old.

Qualifications

NY State Licensed Psychologist
Significant experience implementing psychological evaluations for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of the assessment and treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities.
