Watching Over Us Home Care is a home care agency providing home health services to clients and facilities in the Central Pennsylvania Area.

We accept county, state waiver, Act 150, private pay contracted care and facility contracted care clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs
• Implement behavior management strategies and interventions
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Promote and support resident rights and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Experience:

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is preferred
• Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and related conditions is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with physical transfers as needed
• Familiarity with first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies

Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus and increases placement potential
