Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct oneonone therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with skill acquisition programs, including communication, socialization, and daily living skills
- Support clients in community settings, such as school or recreational activities
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and implement behavior analytic techniques
