    The Sheraton Woodbury is looking for a dynamic individual to step into the role of Director of Sales and Marketing. As the DOSM, you will be responsible for developing strategies and a business plan to expand our customer base and cultivate new partnerships. Work closely with the commercial strategy team to showcase the property across all market segments.

    What You'll Do:

    • Develop and execute the business plan through direct sales, integrated marketing, and revenue management
    • Oversee communication with clients, potential customers, associates, and ownership
    • Lead the sales team in solicitation efforts and managing group, banquet, and catering commitments
    • Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and foster open communication within the team
    • Ensure training programs align with Crescent standards and provide guidance for staff improvement
    • Conduct research on the travel industry to identify market trends and enhance marketing strategies
    • Deliver compelling sales presentations to clients and internal stakeholders
    • Network with customers and clients, including travel when necessary
    • Collaborate with digital and revenue teams on promotional initiatives and third-party channels
    Brand knowledge and local market experience are advantageous for this role. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills.
