**Associate Biochemist

    This position is a fulltime exempt position located on site in Newark, DE.

Position Summary:


The incumbent should be a self-motivated, goal oriented and energetic entry level scientist to join the Technology Department to provide technical support.

This is a full-time exempt position that is entry-level based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware.


Requirements:


  • B.S. degree in analytical chemistry or biochemistry or related program.
  • Previous Laboratory/research work experience.
  • Knowledge with HPLC and/or FPLC instrumentation and different LC separation techniques.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills to utilize Microsoft software and an ERP system for daytoday operations.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude with ability to work well in a group environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in providing ontime tech support to customers and business partners.
  • Assist in working closely with R&D teams to help with new product development.
  • Assist in carrying out customer service projects.
  • Utilize and maintain the ERP system to optimize daily departmental functions.
  • Assist with publication and literature review to understand customer and market needs.
  • Performance of general housekeeping maintenance in the laboratory and cleanliness in work areas.
  • Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.

Pay:
From $23.00 per hour


Expected hours:
