**Quality Control Technician

    This position is a fulltime Nonexempt position located on site in Newark, DE.

Position Summary:


Requirements:


  • Associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, or a similar science discipline.
  • Familiar with HPLC instrumentation and different LC separation techniques.
  • Experience in laboratory work or previous experience in quality control.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate experiment results through proper and detailed record keeping.
  • Proficient computer skills to utilize Microsoft software and an ERP system for daytoday quality operations.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform quality control testing of HPLC columns.
  • Assure timely completion of testing documentation.
  • Generate quality control test results by following Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure test methods are validated or verified as appropriate to the method.
  • Maintain proper and detailed records.
  • Perform order fulfillment as per the customer's/supplier's requirements.
  • Assure timely completion of testing documentation.
  • Preparation of samples, solutions and/or resins.
  • Utilize and maintain the ERP system to optimize daily production functions.
  • Performance of general housekeeping maintenance in the lab and cleanliness and tidiness in work areas.
  • Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.

Pay:
From $19.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
