**Lab Support- PHD Internship**
This position is a Parttime Nonexempt position located on site in Newark, DE.
Position Summary:
Sepax Technologies, Inc.
is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented student in a Master or PhD program who can assist in the laboratory with day-to-day support in the Technology department.
This individual will be scheduled around their college courses during the business hours of Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
This position is based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware in the Delaware Technology Park.Our office is near the University of Delaware therefore is an excellent opportunity for a college student looking for industrial experience.
Requirements:
- A Master or PhD college student enrolled in a science degree program.
- A chemistry scientific background is preferred.
- HPLC experience is preferred.
- Must be independent with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Positive attitude with ability to work well in a group environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong problemsolving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of samples, solutions and/or perform HPLC runs.
- Support other tasks assigned by the team based on the individual's technical skills.
- Assist with documentation as needed.
- Performance of general instrumental maintenance in the laboratories, office/desk space and cleanliness in work areas.
- Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.
