Bilingual Operations Specialist (Miami, FL)We are currently recruiting for a Bilingual Operations Specialist in Miami, FL (Brickell Financial District). Hybrid schedule in-office and remote. Must be bi-lingual - Spanish a must and Portuguese is a plus. The Operations Specialist will primarily support the business, growth and development of various insurance product portfolios. 60K-70K Base + Bonus + Full Benefits Package.
Responsibilities:
Handle the processing of policies, including data entry, policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support specialty lines of insurance including fine art, product recall and terrorism portfolios.
Prepare, review and organize documents, contracts, and reports related to policy and claims ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, claims adjusters, and other departments to facilitate the exchange of information.
To work within a plan of key performance indicators and meet headline targets of service for facultative reinsurance brokers in Miami, as well as in Latin America.
Assist with the set-up of new classes of business as the opportunities arise.Maintain and develop existing relationships with regional brokers and contacts.
Maintain and exceed all Service Level Agreements.
Maintain compliance with the adopted rules, working procedures and other forms of best practices.
Assist with other projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
1-3+ years of experience in a corporate setting; preferably in a critically thinking support role; (re)insurance experience is ideal.
be proficient in Spanish and English. Portuguese would be a plus.
organizational, numerical and analytical skills.
to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external customers, including brokers.
skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet applications.
