    Job Description

    We are seeking a Sourcing Manager for a client in New York City, NY.

    • Job Title: Sourcing Manager
    • Job Location: New York City, NY
    • Job Type: Contract
    • Compensation: Pay Range $50hr - $55hr

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage sourcing activities across various categories such as facilities, HR, and professional services.
    • Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, develop and execute sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage key suppliers.
    • Think analytically, lead cross-company initiatives, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Negotiate deals to maximize cost savings, improve service levels, mitigate risks, and enhance overall value.
    • Provide updates to management and stakeholders on deal terms, risks, and outcomes.
    • Analyze spending data, develop category strategies, gain stakeholder buy-in, and implement sourcing strategies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to achieve business and sourcing objectives.
    • Negotiate contracts, maintain understanding of contracting principles, and drive results through project plans.
    • Create business cases to drive process improvements and support sourcing strategies.
    • Lead supplier reviews to ensure compliance with policies and program objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in sourcing.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, MBA preferred.
    • Proficiency in sourcing life cycle stages and negotiation.
    • Strong skills in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    Characteristics:

    • Adaptability to work across various categories.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Ability to make sound judgments, effective communication, and execution skills.
