    Description

    Must have previous experience in a sales role, specifically selling Networking or Security technology solutions. Should reside in the designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales targeting both Commercial and SLED markets.

    The assigned territory covers Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana and involves managing accounts with a minimum of 500 employees.

    We are looking for a skilled and driven Account Manager who thrives in fast-paced sales environments. This role focuses on expanding and acquiring new customers within the MidMarket and Enterprise segments.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Developing and overseeing sales of Barracuda brand products, such as channel development, management, training, and high-touch sales.
    • Achieving regional and individual sales targets through accurate forecasting, consistent overachievement of sales quotas, and a competitive spirit.
    • Creating and executing action plans, effectively prospecting, and managing relationships with C-Level and senior executives in organizations.

    Your Qualifications

    • Preferably, a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales.
    • At least 2 years of experience in sales of Security products.
    • Background with vendors is desirable.
    • Proven success in generating 1 million USD revenue from the designated Territory.
    • Experience collaborating with resellers for joint selling.
    • Knowledge in Network Security and/or Storage is advantageous.
    • Strong communication skills at the C-level and board level.
    • Demonstrated 'hunter' mentality with a consistent record of surpassing quotas and a history of high-ranking performance within leading companies.
