    Description

    Saint David's School seeks a Lower School STEAM Teacher, Pre-K through Three for the school year. Saint David's is an independent elementary school for boys, located in Manhattan. Founded in the Catholic tradition, the school welcomes everyone.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Teach four STEAM courses, ranging from Pre-K through Grade Three.
    • Develop and implement robotics, coding, and design challenges for Lower School students.
    • Participate fully in grade-level and faculty meetings.
    • Attend lunch and special student activities such as class plays and concerts.
    • Maintain effective professional communication with students, teachers, and administrators.
    • Maintain strong, positive classroom culture and climate. Qualifications and Preferences:
      • Dynamic hands-on teacher who emphasizes problem solving while building essential knowledge
      • Commitment to professional development
      • BS and MS/Ed.M in field related to mathematics, science, and/or elementary education
      • Facility with technology
      • Commitment to boys' education and character education
      • Collegiality, flexibility, humor Salary Range dependent on experience: $69,000 - $115,600 Please send cover letter and resume to:
