    The Wilner Group has partnered with a 300+ year-old company offering premium products that enhance the lives of professional and home chefs worldwide. The company is currently seeking to hire a Director of Logistics. The primary focus of this position is to continuously strive for improvements through KPI development/management, logistics network design, and 3PL management, ensuring timely delivery of quality products to customers. This is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid schedule. Compensation ranges from $160K to $175K based on experience, with additional bonuses and excellent benefits including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, employee discounts, and more

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Develop logistics strategy supporting business objectives, covering forecasting, warehouse management, KPI setup, and cost control.
    • Forecast inbound/outbound volume for workforce, equipment, and space planning.
    • Design cost-effective warehouse network for future growth through market study and simulations.
    • Establish KPIs to monitor 3PL performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
    • Report monthly logistics cost trends and implications.
    • Manage logistics cost accounting, allocate expenses, and propose cost-saving solutions.
    • Drive lean process improvement in all warehouse locations.
    • Enhance 3PL performance and overall logistics efficiency through strategic implementation.
    • Monitor logistics performance monthly, identify trends, and seek cost-saving opportunities.
    • Report on logistics cost trends and recommend appropriate actions.
    Required Qualifications:

    •Bachelor's Degree or higher (Preferably Supply Chain, Operations Management).

    •Worked extensively in a global, matrix organization.

    •Extensive depth of knowledge of Logistics & Supply Chain (track record on warehouse shopfloor management)

    •Solid SAP Experience (preferable: SAP S4/H work experience in warehouse management)
