This role will report to the VP of Global Value Chain Management and be part of the team to Design, Develop and Execute Global Value Chain Strategy for a Robust, Agile and Cost-effective Operational Platform, through individual excellence and collectively achieving organizational performance goals as ONE TEAM, with amoeboid ability to scale efficiently to a global company with revenues in the billions.

**The Director of Warehouse and Logistics** play an instrumental key role in overseeing Global Warehousing and Logistics strategies as well as execution in all aspects of managing worldwide 3PL warehouses, Logistics providers, and Trade Custom/Compliance processes. Develop viable and effective approach and best practices in load optimization, cargo consolidation and shipment configuration to achieve seamless, timeliness and cost-effective mode of transportation of goods from Asian suppliers to worldwide operating fulfilment centers. This role will manage the US and China Warehouse/Logistics teams.

**Role:**

Design, develop and deliver effective Global Warehousing and Logistics strategies and execution in aspects of managing worldwide 3PL warehouses, Logistics providers and Trade Custom/Compliance processes while ensuring a seamless, timeliness and cost-effective mode of transportation of goods from Asian suppliers to worldwide operating fulfilment centers.

Deliver standardized and sustainable business practices through leadership in the areas of logistics (3PL) partnership, trade compliance, shipping practices, warehouse management practices, and similar.

Lead the relationship and oversight of logistics providers to ensure the inbound and outbound flow of goods and materials is on time while maintaining trade compliance rules of the sources of manufacture and supply for import/export.

Play a pivotal role to identify system and process improvements to optimize fulfillment operations to Amazon/other online eCommerce platform and drive efficiency, and cost reduction. Develop a long-term strategy of best-in-class enhancements to eCommerce logistics, maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, proactively recommending changes, and assisting in implementing new procedures and processes to improve the overall eCommerce fulfillment.

Collaborate with multiple Asian suppliers on cargo consolidation, best shipment route configurations to achieve the shortest lead time and cost-effective delivery.

Regularly review the quality issues in relation to cargoes damages with Customers / 3PL, Logistics providers as well as Suppliers. Assess and recommend the optimal load optimization through improvement on method of loading / packaging.

Working closely with key business partners and functions (Brand Management / Brand Operations / Supply Planning) to translate business requirements into actionable process to ensure business and customer expectations are met to result in exceptional customer experience with high level engagement.

Manage budgets to ensure cost effective operations within scope of responsibility.

Develop metrics, KPI aligned with Company Goals and Directions. Regular Reports / Dashboards to allow concise visibility on the efficiency and cost effectiveness of Warehouse / Logistics Operations, to drive continuous improvement.

Monitor the eCommerce landscape to identify trends and best practices and be sensitive to the economical/political/climate changes impact on a timeless and cost-effective logistics operation.

Develop reporting to regularly track and monitor key KPIs to improve processes to eCommerce fulfillment.

Documenting SOP and drive for ISO certification.

**Requirements:**

Bachelors degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, Business, a related field, and at least more than 10 years of Global Warehouse / Logistics experience in distribution environment, inclusive of eCommerce fulfillment. Experience in retail industry would be an advantage.

At least 5 years of leading, coaching and managing teams.

Proven record of accomplishment in driving Warehousing / Logistics strategy on efficiency/effectiveness and cost saving for the organization.

Experience in eCommerce space Fulfilment or managing the shipment from Asian suppliers for worldwide operations as well as delivery to Online Platform Retailers.

Proven track record of operational excellence / lean / continuous improvement for supply chain responsiveness and optimization.

Command a deep knowledge of various systems (Warehouse Management System, Order Management System), how they interact and how to improve flows. Extensive knowledge of receipt, storage, retrieval, order processing and shipping and transportation shipping methods; inclusive of eCommerce fulfillment practices.
