Description
Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesAs our Supply Chain Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for purchasing materials and shipping logistics within PendoTECH.
You will ensure that adequate parts for assembled products are available on time and whin budget, and that finished goods are properly packed and shipped on time.
You will also oversee proper labeling of products.Additionally, you will be responsible for forecasting and sourcing private labeled, and contract manufactured finished products for sale so that we can satisfy customer grow projections and customer inventory requirements.
Key activities are sourcing new products and suppliers, forecasting contractor manufacturing, improving delivery time and driving cost savings through oversight and management including planning, controlling, and coordinating aspects of the supply chain.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Establishing key programs that target improvement opportunities to reduce costs and lead times, resolve quality issues, and/or increase global supply dependability and flexibility.
Overseeing negotiations and the establishment of applicable supply agreements, contracts, and purchase order terms and conditions.
Traveling to supplier sites to conduct business reviews.
Ordering and tracking materials for in-house and external assembly of monitors and control systems.
Maintaining records of goods ordered and received using QuickBooks Enterprise and SAP.
Working with vendors of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure their current and future availability.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent working experience.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a supply chain function.
Experience with sourcing contract manufactured parts and finished products.
Ideally some industry exposure to the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
Knowledge of ERP MPS, MRP systems.
Past supervisory experience preferred.
