Support the Sourcing IT Infrastructure team in strategy implementation, procurement initiatives, RFP activities, agreement negotiations, vendor and strategy management. Act as liaison between the sourcing organization, stakeholders and other corporate functions involved in the procurement process. Create a solid relationship with stakeholders; maintain a trustworthy work ethic and a team environment. Partner with Comcast and Sky Procurement Teams and Business Stakeholders to drive global enterprise deals and agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead RFP efforts and activities pre and post bid
- Facilitate proposal analysis, comparisons and vendor background checks
- Provide a strategic insight and market intel to facilitate the decision making process
- Lead contract and legal negotiation efforts
- Responsible for timely execution of projects, coordinating efforts across all stakeholders and participating functions like, legal, finance, information security and governance
- Manage vendor relationships
- Maintain accurate spend and contractrelated data in numerous databases
- Analyze and calculate procurement costs and develop cost reduction strategies
Qualifications Basic Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
- Minimum of 5year experience in sourcing and procurement of IT products and services
- Strong commercial and legal acumen, ability to negotiate contracts and support the legal department
- Excellent work ethic
- Strong data analytics capabilities, including proficiency in Excel based analytics such as pivot tables and other advanced functions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional relationship management skills and ability to interact at all levels of management in a mesh organization
Desired Characteristics:
- Proactive selfstarter, able to identify and take the lead on initiatives
- Great time management skills and strong multitasker
- Professional procurement accreditation is a plus
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure and Cloud Technologies, including public cloud, generative AI, servers, storage, PCs and/or network security is a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to work in Philadelphia, PA (Comcast Center Philadelphia Campus)
- This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
