    Position Overview

As an Investment Performance Analyst I within PNC's Investment Office, you will be based in Philadelphia, PA.

    - The Performance Measurement Team looks at rates of return on trade accounts and verifies that they are correct and audit, make sure the performance is accurate.
    - The Investment Performance Analysts assist the field (investment advisors) via tickets when questions arise with an account and come up with a resolution.
    - Day-to-day activity includes auditing accounts via performance related feedback tickets. These requests involve research and analytical work to determine and solve the issue.
    - Work on different group related projects including onboarding and decommissioning of software related to the Performance Team.
    - Work on creating and assigning benchmarks to accounts.
    - Work with other applications and departments to solve issues.
    - Learn how to use core applications related to the day to day work done by the Performance Team.

    Preferred skills & experience :

    - An understanding of performance reporting standards & data reconciliation a plus.
    - Basic working knowledge & experience with investments and securities.
    - Basic Microsoft Office knowledge/skills.
    - Ability to work in a team environment.
    - Comfortable working with large data sets.
    - Prefer a candidate with some trust performance experience or someone that has a general knowledge of it.
    - Basic knowledge of portfolio accounting and daily upkeep of accounts is a plus.
    - Prefer 1-2 years Industry experience but willing to train the right candidate.
    - Basic knowledge of performance measurement concepts is a plus.
    - Focused understanding of the necessity of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to add value by processing information with high levels of accuracy.

    Job Description
    • Assists in the coordination and delivery of investment performance measurement support and resolution of performance questions and issues.
    • Assists in resolution of performance return calculation issues.
    • Assists in performance reporting projects, operational improvements, systems releases and enhancements.
    • Assists in creation of internal procedures, training, and reporting for management.

    Problem Solving - Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

    Project Management - Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.

    Regulatory Environment - Financial Services - Knowledge of and ability to help an organization adapt to applicable federal, state, local, and company-specific regulations, policies, and guidelines affecting business practices.

    Work Experience

    Roles at this level typically require an Associates or equivalent degree as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Typically requires 4+ years of related business or functional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
