Job Summary


Engagement Executives play a leading role in driving best practices relative to analytic/automation opportunities in audits by focusing on risks and providing innovative insights/cost-effective solutions.

Executives will be responsible for simultaneously leading multiple work teams supporting CGA engagements and initiatives.

With our standard engagement cadence and focus on diversifying our talent, Engagement Executives will be responsible for creating and overseeing ad hoc reporting, proactive monitoring metrics (dashboards) and analyses, and identifying/implementing automation opportunities.

In this role you will gain broad exposure to the Comcast Corporation through the audit process.


Core Responsibilities

What You Deliver**- Exercises portfolio management skills for data and automation related projects, including developing project plans and budgets, identifying dependencies across activities, synchronizing deliverables, clearly defining roles and responsibilities (RACI), executing per the roadmap, keeping leadership abreast of status, and developing solutions/recommendations on issues for leadership consideration.

  • Ensures that work teams are taking a strategic approach to solution development, taking into consideration scalability and standardization.
  • Manages and develops employees in our organization across all professional levels (analyst, sr analyst, lead sr analyst, manager, advisor, principal).
  • Provides leadership and structure to new initiatives, such as Generative AI auditing. Brings together resources across our organization (Data, FinOps, Tech Audit) to define, pilot, build, and refine new programs.
  • Ensures automation and analytics documentation is developed timely and with high quality.
  • Identifies automation opportunities within CGA's audit scope and assesses the ROI to determine if automation is costjustified.
  • Ensures all data is secure and follows company policies regarding data classification.
  • Offers management oversight, training, review, and guidance to the staff.
  • Identifies and provides mentorship to prospective future leaders in our organization.
  • Provides ongoing feedback on work completion and performance to team members and direct reports.
  • Contributes to the operations and management of the department in areas such as recruiting, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, presentations to management, and training.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement to initiatives, team activities, tools, and training.
  • Supports department objectives and performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
  • Owns the data roadmap for the department and executes against it.
  • Validates the design of supporting analytics and performs quality reviews of deliverables.
  • Provides leadership and direction for the analytics team to ensure that all work is properly conducted and completed in accordance with the roadmap and audit plan; staff is supervised, work is reviewed, and followup work is performed as necessary; findings and analysis are communicated to CGA and client management.
  • Ensures that the analytics team is fluent in tools and programming techniques including SQL programming, MS SQL Server development, Oracle Business Intelligence, Teradata, Tableau, and/or comparable platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Python).
  • Ensures that the analytics team uses analytical models (e.g., regression, simulation, statistical, etc.) and/or techniques in support of engagement deliverables, as appropriate.
  • Assesses the impact of analytic observations and identifies themes across multiple engagements/ entities.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
