Food sales position with aggressive commission/ $$$/ sales experienceOur client has Sales Manager position available for experienced, independent, and reliable team member. You'll create sales and business relationships representing the company in Chicago. The ideal Sales Manager lives and covers the Chicagoland and surrounding states. This is a remote opportunity but the Sales Manager must have experience working and living in these territories. We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in the Food Service industry.
This is a permanent, 100% remote position, providing you the flexibility to work from anywhere while still making a significant impact on our business.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in food sales and account management, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and managing a high-performing sales team.
As our Sales Manager, your principal responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.
Leading a nationwide sales team, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with both existing and potential clients, understanding their unique needs and how our products can meet those needs.
Managing a large portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues that may arise.Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure our sales strategies align with the overall company vision.
Preparing and presenting sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.A minimum of 5 years of experience in food sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Proven experience as a Sales Manager, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong account management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of clients.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
