We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to work in our Wilkes Barre office location. This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday-Friday between 8:00a-5:00p EST.

The Staff Accountant is directly involved in the daily management and analysis of the parent company and its subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the company CFO, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for the regular reporting of cash and treasury activities, and will directly assist the Finance team with month-end and year-end closing processes and reporting.

What You'll Do:

Prepare journal entries for month-end, and routinely throughout the month
Assist with month-end closing processes
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Treasury management
Assist with annual audit preparation
Produce regular and ad hoc reports, as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned

What You'll Have:

Minimum of Bachelors' Degree in Accounting required
Accounting software experience strongly preferred
One year of experience in a small to medium sized, service-oriented organization
Developed general ledger knowledge and experience
Proficient in Excel
Strong communication skills
