Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in a supervisory role in a long term care facility is preferred.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Knowledge of longterm care regulations preferred
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Nursing and Medical Director to provide hands on training for our nursing team.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedure of the facility through various methods including hands on training
- Own accountability for decreasing the incidence and transmission of infectious diseases between residents, staff, visitors and the community
- Ensure that all monthly nursing education is completed by staff and help orient new employees
