    Position Overview:

    The Kitchen Cook is based out of Buckys convenience store in Lawler, IA. The Kitchen Cook is a full OR part-time position and requires occasional weekends. This position reports to the Manager and has no supervisory responsibility.

    Essential Duties and Functions:

    + Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects

    + Actively participate in training or store meetings

    + Prepare and cook a variety of menu items for our patrons

    + Perform cleaning and sanitation of all kitchen equipment according to a cleaning schedule

    + Rotate and stock products delivered upon weekly arrival

    + Consistently follow recipes and ensure customer products always meet Buckys standards

    + Assist with monitoring and reporting inventory levels to the manager

    + Provide courteous and friendly customer service without exception

    + Work as a team and ensure the next shift is always set up for success by being properly prepared

    + Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work

    Position Requirements:

    + Consent to authorization of a pre-employment background check and drug test

    + Customer service oriented

    + Must be at least 16 years of age

    + Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to reach below/at/above shoulders

    + Pushing/Pulling

    + Twisting/Bending

    + Sitting/Standing/Balancing

    + Simple/Firm grasping

    + Ability to lift/lower over 50 pounds

    + Ability to carry over 50 pounds

    + Squatting/Stooping/Crouching

    + Kneeling/Crawling

    + Gross manipulation (pinching)
