    Job Description

    This project is to complete phased work developing an external customer application submission portal to process loan applications. This external portal and the associated internal business process from the legacy system have already been migrated from the legacy system. The scope of work is to develop, maintain, & implement the submission portal with robust, scalable underwriting workflow and robust/scalable/real-time RESTFUL API user interface with downstream business applications so users/customers have transparency about the status of the application as it flows thru the approval process. The workflow needs to guide the application through proper channels for rendering the final decision based on the approved workflow design. The downstream business applications that the portal will need to integrate with are the client's Oracle Federal Financials system, an Informatica MDM COTS product, an external customer-facing system, a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution, a Documentum Content Management Repository, Salesforce, DocuSign technology, and one external system: The scope also includes:

    • Executing a full-scale data migration from the legacy system into the new database, then retiring the legacy system
    • Enhance current system cybersecurity posture & meet Zero Trust Architecture Framework requirements to achieve ATO approval prior to go-live in Production.
    • Develop and maintain a secured Microservices framework to encapsulate all business processes.
    • Develop a flexible, scalable, and robust system architecture
    • Conduct full-scale system functional and integration testing, UAT
    • Develop 508 compliant training materials
    • Hold iterative training sessions to train internal business users, external customers, and OM&E Production support team

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our custom J2EE banking & loan applications, web applications, interfaces and other integrated components through comprehensive testing methodologies. Responsibilities include:

    • Adhere to industry standard Agile Project Management and development framework.
    • Develop a communication plan for both external and internal customers.
    • Work with PM to prepare and plan Go-Live communication for both external/internal customers.
    • Training responsibilities:
      • Develop/update end-user user training guides for internal and external users, ensure all guides are 508 Compliant
      • Develop a comprehensive user training plan.
      • Coordinate and execute user training – approximately users
    • Testing responsibilities:
      • Plan, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive functional and integration Test Plan for testing integrations with systems listed in the Project Description.
      • Develop comprehensive test plan, business use case, test data for system testing, integration testing and data migration mapped to business requirements/epic/user stories.
      • Execute detailed test cases during Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) phase and document test results for both failure & success scenarios.
      • Build automated regression test scripts to conduct Quality Assurance Testing (QAT).
      • Perform end-to-end business use case testing with both newly created application data and data migrated from the legacy system.
      • Conduct coordinated system integration testing.
      • Plan, conduct, and coordinate User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase with external/internal business stakeholders and IT systems team.
