    Description

    In this critical role, you'll play a key role in the HR department by leading the payroll process for our assigned companies. You'll ensure our employees receive their paychecks accurately and on time, while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.

    Here's what you'll do:

    • Payroll Processing Pro: Lead the processing of scheduled payrolls for assigned companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws.
    • Compliance Champion: Guarantee adherence to federal, state, and local tax and wage & hour regulations, including payroll tax registrations.
    • Problem-Solving Sleuth: Analyze complex payroll issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
    • Decision-Making Master: Exercise independent judgment on matters related to compliance, compensation, taxation, and HR policies.
    • Data & Reporting Ace: Conduct post-payroll audits, generate reports, and recommend best practice improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Policy Pro: Stay up-to-date on payroll procedures and policies, implementing changes to improve departmental effectiveness.

    To be successful, you'll need:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year of experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
    • A strong work ethic with a focus on reliability, responsibility, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • The ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing needs.
    • Proactive problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite applications.
    • Excellent data entry and typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
    • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
