    West to East Business Solutions - Staff Accountant Position

    West to East Business Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant experienced in QuickBooks software to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you'll be key in managing financial records accurately for our clients.

    Responsibilities:
    • Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks software with accuracy and completeness.
    • Process and record financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
    • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
    • Prepare various financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
    • Handle daily bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management.
    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in financial records.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advances in bookkeeping practices and QuickBooks software.
    Requirements:
    • Prior experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
    • Familiarity with QuickBooks software including managing Chart of Accounts, creating journal entries, and producing financial reports.
    • Understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
