Position overview:
The Accountant/Bookkeeper will be responsible for the accounting and bookkeeping needs for Covey Security.

Duties will include finalizing payroll with general oversight for compliance, assist with billing and invoicing, process payables, manage account receivables and handle monthly reconciliation.

Responsibilities:


  • General bookkeeping duties and report generation
  • Oversight of budgets and other issues
  • Payroll input and processing (Approval from Management) as well as respond to potential discrepancies
  • Billing for clients
  • AR management and followup
  • Process bills and payables in a timely manner
  • Reconcile books on a monthly basis
  • Work with tax compliance if needed
  • Assist with insurance and other audit issues.
  • Asset management record keeping
Job Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks online (5+ Years)
  • Good communication skills with an ability to simplify complex issues
  • Attention to details and ability to establish processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
