    We are looking for a Staff Accountant responsible for the specific duties listed below.

    Your specific duties will include:

    • Bookkeeping and tax tasks; managing processes, not people.
    • Individual income tax return preparation and review are a plus.
    • Corporate/Partnership tax preparation a plus.
    • Client write-up accounting, on-site client accounting, and support.
    • Client Quickbooks accounting/support.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Specific qualifications for the position include:
    • > 3 years of tax and accounting experience in any of these areas(all not required); retail small business, sales tax, partnerships, S Corps., P&L, reporting analysis, General Ledger, quarterly tax returns, etc.
    • Individual and Business tax return preparation experience is a plus.
    • Small (not corporate) CPA firm experience is a plus
    • General payroll background (use CIS- trainable) a plus.
    • Must be EXCELLENT with Quickbooks desktop and online.
    • Lacerte Tax software is a plus.
    • Does not require an accounting degree, as will consider applicants with a substantial applicable work history in lieu of a degree in accounting.
    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
